DEM research featured at the American Heart Association Resuscitation Science Symposium in LA

New research from Pitt DEM researcher David Salcido, MPH, has shown that patients who are resuscitated from cardiac arrest and arrest a second time are 6 times less likely to survive than those who do not. Mr. Salcido reviewed over 18,000 cardiac arrests treated by the Resuscitation Outcomes Consortium.
