What are your career goals?
Still figuring that out! UPMC is definitely a great program to help you do that. 
 
What did you do the summer before internship?
Moved back to NYC. 
 
What do you like to do outside of medicine? 
Volleyball, golfing, tanning, cook outs, and exploring new bars and restaurants.

Pitt EM has a great program culture and community. There are vast opportunities to explore different pathways for a career in emergency medicine. 
 
What are the strengths of the Pitt EM program? 
UPMC EM has a lot of training opportunities and TONS of exposure! Our culture!

Our class is the best. We all clicked immediately!
 
What has surprised you most about Pitt?
The reach of the hospital system and resources available. 

About Pitt EM and Pittsburgh

What do you like best about living in Pittsburgh/Western PA?
Quieter than a busy city but still having access to a big city environment. 
 
Where did you choose to live, and why?
Strip District, great location with restaurants, bars, and local event spaces. Plus it is right along the river.
 
What advice would you give to incoming residents about moving to the 'Burgh? 
Move earlier and explore! There are many hole-in-the walls places you just need to find them.
