Traveled to Dominican Republic and visited family. 
 
What do you like to do outside of medicine? 
Exercise, hiking, a little of everything. 

Reflections on the Pitt EM Program

What were you looking for in a residency program? 
Being prepared to become an attending, and having a good time on the journey there with my coresidents. 
 
What are the strengths of the Pitt EM program? 
The comradery with not only the other residents but also the attendings that treat you like a colleague rather than a subordinate. 
 
Tell us about your residency classmates! How long did it take to connect?
First night we went out together. We laugh and enjoy our different personalities. Overall much love for our group. 
 
What surprised you most about Pitt/UPMC?
Attendings treating us like colleagues, and all of the resources we have.

Where did you choose to live, and why?
Eastside Bond in Shadyside because of the great location to good food, markets, stores, and close to the hospitals.
