Christopher Schott, MD, MS, RDMS, FACEP, is an associate professor in the Department of Critical Care Medicine with a secondary appointment in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He is an emergency physician and intensivist at UPMC.
Dr. Schott completed his undergraduate degree at SUNY at Buffalo before earning his medical degree at the University at Buffalo. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School and fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the Pitt Med faculty.
Areas of Interest
Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) education for critical care and emergency medicine; determining competency/proficiency in POCUS; utilizing POCUS to guide resuscitation and treatment in acutely ill patients; medical education.
