Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine

David Thomas, MD, is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and an emergency physician at UPMC. He serves as the program director of the UPMC/University of Pittsburgh emergency ultrasound fellowship.

Dr. Thomas completed his undergraduate degree at Ursinus College before earning his medical degree at Temple University. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Vidant Medical Center and fellowship in emergency ultrasound at Hartford Hospital before joining the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh.
