Nick Case is a research scientist in the Department of Emergency Medicine and the clinical research coordinator for the Post-Cardiac Arrest Service at the University of Pittsburgh, and a critical care flight paramedic with STAT MedEvac.
He holds degrees from the University of Pittsburgh in emergency medicine and biostatistics. His methodological research concerns the application of causal inference methods to observational data arising from emergency and critical care settings. His applied research draws on neuroimaging and physiologic data to characterize patterns of brain injury and recovery following cardiac arrest.
