David Salcido

Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine

David Salcido, PhD, is an associate professor of emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He serves as co-director of the Center for Cardiac Arrest Survival and chair of the University Senate's Campus Utilization, Planning, and Safety (CUPS) Committee. Dr. Salcido's lab focuses on exploring the effectiveness and outcomes of resuscitation methods, particularly after cardiac arrest.

Dr. Salcido earned his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the faculty.
