Hernando Gómez Danies, MD, MPH, is an associate professor in the University of Pittsburgh Department of Critical Care Medicine with a secondary appointment in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He serves as associate program director of the anesthesiology critical care medicine fellowship. Dr. Gomez is an intensivist at UPMC.
Dr. Gomez earned his medical degree and completed his residency in anesthesiology and resuscitation at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, a fellowship in critical care medicine at Fudacion Hospital San Carlos, and a fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the Pitt Med faculty.
