Jonathan Tam, MD, MS is an assistant professor of critical care medicine and emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Tam is an emergency physician and intensivist at UPMC and attends on the University of Pittsburgh Post-Cardiac Arrest Service.
Dr. Tam completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester before earning his medical degree at Hofstra University. He completed his residency in emergency medicine and fellowships in critical care medicine and emergency care research at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the faculty.
Areas of Interest
Post-cardiac arrest physiology, processes of care, and outcomes; clinical frailty in cardiac arrest and critical illness; impact of withdrawal of life-sustaining therapies in critical illness.
