Ronald Roth

Ronald Roth, MD, is professor emeritus of emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. The former medical director for Pittsburgh EMS and program director of the UPMC/University of Pittsburgh EMS fellowship, Dr. Roth now serves as senior medical consultant to the City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety, team physician for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and emergency medicine consultant for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He is an emergency and EMS physician (MD 412) at UPMC.

Dr. Roth completed his undergraduate degree at Pennsylvania State University before earning his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the faculty.
