Scott Gunn

Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Clinical and Translational Science

Scott Gunn, MD, FCCM, is a professor in the University of Pittsburgh Department of Critical Care Medicine with secondary appointments in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Clinical and Translational Science Institute. He serves as vice chair of clinical operations for the Department of Critical Care Medicine and director of the clinical leadership track in the multidisciplinary critical care training program. Dr. Gunn is an emergency physician and intensivist at UPMC and the medical director of the surgical trauma ICU at UPMC Presbyterian. 

Dr. Gunn completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree at the University of Minnesota. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center and fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Pittsburgh before joining the faculty.
